Our work has its own history
Some examples of our work in practice:
We have gathered important experience and have been able to develop working methods through the project “Reflections on experiences in the Regional Museum Neukölln”. The cooperation between the Regional Museum Neukolln a museum for city culture and regional history and eye-witnesses was the starting point for getting the project off the ground. By working together with eye-witnesses a special approach to museum education was developed, in order to forge a close and lively relationship between the objects and the questions concerned and the general public. This involved discussions with eye-witnesses in the classroom, so-called “talk cafes”, projects at the places concerned, workshops on questions of the future, Berlin dining circles, neighbourhood conferences, and so on. The question of how to deal with historical events and present-day problems plays in the respect a major role.
